I am a private mental health counselor who focuses my work in Washington Academy.  WA students are referred to me by teachers, guidance counselors, the school nurse, parents, other staff, or through self-referral by the students themselves.

While interested in many areas of mental health, my areas of expertise are depression, ADHD, anxiety, Anger Management, and Grief/Loss issues.  I also works with clients who have Panic Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attachment Disorders, Eating Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Mood Disorders, Substance Abuse/ Co-Occurring Disorders, Personality Disorders, Bereavement Issues/Grief and Loss, Relationship Issues, Parenting Concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Physical/Sexual Abuse and Neglect. I have a special interest in working with LGBTQ Adolescents.

Psychodynamic Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Based Therapy, Psychoeducational Therapy, Grief and Loss Therapy, are all Modalities and Therapeutic Tools that I use.
